    Publisher: Body and Breath - Wonderful and very complete book on the anatomy of common yoga asanas.
  • What Every Pianist Needs to Know About the Body by Thomas Mark, Roberta Gary, Thom Miles
    Publisher: Gia Publications - Fantastic book written to introduce pianists to body mechanics. This book is highly recommended by my friend, client and expert piano teacher Kathryn Heafield.

  • Know Your Fats : The Complete Primer for Understanding the Nutrition of Fats, Oils and Cholesterol by Mary Enig
    Publisher: Bethesda Press - Fantastic and complete resource about oil and fat and their effects on the body. Technical at times but a great reference.
  • The Gift of Pain by Paul Brand and Philip Yancey
    Publisher: Zondervan - Fascinating book about pain used as a messenger or a teacher for information about our bodies.
  • Warrior Girls by Michael Sokolove
    Publisher: Simon and Schuster - Michael Sokolove presents fascinating piece of investigating journalism about an under- reported epidemic; why do women athletes seem to get injured more often than their male counterpart. Read more about if in my August 25th 2008 blog entry
